It cooks nicely and shape does not get mushy. I've used it for a simple tomato sauce and also for a creamy mac and cheese, and it was great. Because its not made of Maida so my whole family can eat guilt-free specially kids.
I've been ordering vermicelli for a while now and it's perfect for making a traditional seviyan kheer and namkeen snack. They don't clump together. It's also great for a quick savory upma.
